Tesla Commences Version 3 Rollout

Tesla started rolling out Version 3 Autopilot hardware this week. New features include Enhanced Summon, which allows drivers to summon the car from a parking spot to the driver (video). Warning drivers about upcoming red lights, and yielding to other cars signaling a merge into the lane ahead are capabilities included in the update. Enhanced Summon is one of the first features of Tesla’s planned Full Self-Driving capability to be enabled. Tesla rolls out upgrades to customers cars gradually, so not all cars have the new capabilities yet.
